Heather Waters, DO
Heather Waters, DO, is a board-certified Family Practice physician. A Columbia, Mississippi native, she accepted a HPSP scholarship from the United States Air Force in 2006. She completed her osteopathic medical degree at the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences and went on to complete a three-year residency in Family Medicine with an emphasis in Manual Sports Medicine at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. She then served as an attending physician at Keesler Air Force Base, Mississippi. During this time, Dr. Waters published in the Family Practice Inquiry Network, completed a seven-month deployment in East Africa and was selected as the Keesler Family Health Clinic Medical Director in May 2016. Since separation from the Air Force in 2017, Dr. Waters calls Petal, Mississippi home.
In addition to the broad spectrum of Family Medicine patient care, Dr. Waters is certified in osteopathic manipulative medicine (OMM), trigger point dry needling, bio-identical hormone replacement, BOTOX/Dysport, Kybella, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy, as well as cosmetic dermal fillers.
